U19 Girls Travel Soccer Kicks Off

The Girls High School, or U19 league started this weekend, and all teams were in action on Saturday to kick off the league in style.

The Southeast-Sandhills Soccer League is hosting a series of matches for high school girls and it includes all area teams from our region, and is a great opportunity for girls to get involved and develop as players during their off-season in preparation for the HS seasons ahead.

Our ladies have been out on the field working preparing for their upcoming seasons and took on Lumberton Lady Gunners this weekend.

The next set of matches will be on September 30th, and the girls will take on Bladen Crush as well as Pembroke United at Purnell Swett HS. Games are slated to be at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively.

All roster spots are now closed for the girls U19 team as we were only able to field around 17 players for this team. We are looking forward to a great season of growth and development from each of the girls and wish them all the best.
